sketches for Artwith Latex necklace designs. A few of these went on to become latex jewelry you can check out here. Since these are symmetrical designs I draw one side then trace the mirror image of the other side.
The two images on the left are necktie designs. The Casket one, Kurt (Artwith Designs), made a one-off for me.
Family crest. I figured I'd have to create my own. The Latin phrase is borrowed from the Addams Family. It means ." We gladly feast on those who would subdue us."
I'm a big fan of Halloween! Its me and my wifes favorite holiday so anytime I get a halloween, creepy, macabre, gothy, horror-oriented tattoo I'm all over it. I got to do this in black and gray on the inside of a clients bicep. It was a lot of fun!
This ended up being a tattoo I started on a friend who now lives in Kentucky and is still a work in progress on her but we are both determined to finish it at some point. Its been a few years now but she visits Austin and maybe I'll get up to KY to work on it some more.
I'm a really big fan of Tibetan art. I honestly would love to tattoo this stuff all day long. Its one of those styles that despite the fact that its not mine, I could do it everyday. There is something very meditative about drawing in this style.
SO its been a while since I updated this here blog, but better late then never right. I'm debating on turning this into a straight art blog instead of a sketch blog, we'll see how it all plays out. As it is I have most all of sketchbooks scanned for this project already so that will take some time uploading it all and that'll give me plenty of time to figure it all out.
